EPELTS listening assessment is meticulously crafted to cater specifically to Sri Lankan students, aligning with international standards. With clear and concise instructions provided on the test paper, you will find it easy to navigate and answer the questions.

During the assessment, you will have dedicated time to read the questions and input your answers on the online question paper while listening. At the conclusion of the audio, an additional ten minutes are allotted for transferring your answers to an Answer Sheet.

Our assessment evaluates a wide range of listening skills, including understanding main ideas, specific factual information, opinions, attitudes, and the purpose of the speaker. You will also practise following the progression of an argument.

ASSESSMENT FORMAT

  • Conversations between two individuals in a social context
  • Monologues set in everyday social situations
  • Group conversations involving four individuals

  • Multiple choice, matching, and short answer questions
  • Plan/map/diagram labelling and flow chart completion
  • Form completion, sentence completion, summary completion, note completion, and table completion
